Bronze-Colored Wheels Suit This Black McLaren 570S Perfectly

McLaren only recently unveiled the hardcore 600LT Spider, and while it’s now the must-have vehicle from the Sports Series range, the more affordable 570S Spider is still a very appealing supercar that can be made to turn as many heads as its hardcore sibling.

This particular 570S Spider, recently modified by the crew over at Brixton Forged, has been fitted with a pair of satin bronze PF10 Duro Series wheels measuring 20×9-inch at the front and 20×12-inch at the wheel.

If you get the shade right, wheels like this can work beautifully on black sports cars, and this McLaren serves to prove that. Sure, the wheels may be a little too big for comfort (pun intended), but they do help to give the mid-engine supercar a more aggressive stance.

It’s not just the wheels that make this 570S stand out, as the owner has also had a towering carbon fiber rear wing fitted. We think it looks out of place, but that’s just us.

Sitting directly behind the occupants of the 570S Spider is a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine delivering 562 HP (570 PS) and 444 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. This engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which allows the supercar to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds and hit a 328 km/h (204 mph) top speed with the roof up.

By comparison, the hardcore 600LT Spider pumps out 592 HP (600 PS) and is outfitted with a multitude of aerodynamic modifications that make it a more raw machine. We doubt, however, that you’ll feel short-changed by the slightly slower 570S, especially if it looks as good as the one pictured here.
